Burmese Days : The train to Insein

From Yangon a circle train goes to the small market town of Insein, more famous for its notorious prison for political prisoners. We looked at the market in Insein and the activities along the track. The train was very very slow, sort of hop-on-hop-off-speed, had neither doors nor windows, and carried all sorts of market produce and their vendors.  I like to go by train as one sees the backside of the cities, although in this case the train went right through and people got on and off along the way.
